Manu - Pilcopata / Rafting

ECOADVENTURE IN THE JUNGLE OF THE MANU CULTURAL ZONE

1ª day : our trip starts from Pilcopata town by minibus until the river site, where we pump the boat and prepare the river equipments and team whit the instructions about the commands in the water to control the boat.

Descending by raft the river we’ll have rapids level II-III on the first section, the next section is flat for peddler and enjoy a paisajistic view, we are will advance until the lunch time where will stop for eat on a sandy beach.

Finally we continued until arrive to the pantiacolla lodge where spend the night.

2ª day : we continued our trip by the river on the raft until we arrive to Itahuania Community, after to save the rafting equipments we’ll have our box lunch and rest few minutes for prepare all the things for start to walk by the way of the community.

2ª night : we’re will make camping whit tents on a Tambo of the community people, if we’re lucky we can see big and little mammals, birds and thighs. Looking around good places.

3ª day : we will wake up early next the breakfast we can enjoy of this place resting or making some group activities on the site. There we’ll have lunch and diner spends the night. 

3ª night : we can make fire, fish on some lakes and more.

4ª day : we’re wake up early for prepare the things for begin the trek for arrive to the Itahuania community, finally take us the rafting equipments and a motorboat until arrive to atalaya port where change on a minibus to transport to Pilcopata town for dinner and spend the night in a comfortable hostel where is the end of our offer B alternative.

Tours includes : native jungle guide, two river guides, river rafting equipments (cata raft for cargo and raft for the people, lifejackets, paddles, helmets, dry bags), camping equipments, cooker, ticket for the way of the community, 3 good meals per day, 01 porter service per every two people, campsite whit bathrooms, motor boat from Itahuania to Atalaya, minibus to Pilcopata town and comfortable hostel.

1ª day: our trip starts from Pilcopata town at 8:00 A.M. by minibus until the river site, where we pump the boat and prepare the river equipments and team whit the instructions about the commands in the water to control the boat.

Descending by raft the river for aprox. 4 hours, the lunch we’ll have in the Amazon lodge. In this place we are going to walk through the forest to appreciate flora and fauna of the area. Then we go back to the lodge for have the dinner and spend the night.

2ª day: we leave the Amazon lodge by the raft very early to advance until the macaws lick for see the place activities, next we will continue for have the breakfast on a special place.

After this stop we go down stream to Pantiacolla lodge where we’ll have our lunch, rest few minutes and in the afternoon we will go to walk by through by the forest, to the end of this activity in the lodge we’ll have the dinner and spend the night.

3ª day: we can rest to the half day until the lunch time, next we continue descending the river to arrive until Itahuania community where the end of the rafting tour is.

After take care of our river equipments, we’re will take a motorboat for return to Atalaya and take a minibus to Pilcopata town where you have a comfortable and good hostel.

4ª day:  free for know the town and rest before go back Cusco city by local bus or another transport.
